World Book Day 2023📗📚

In Rang a 5, we celebrated World Book Day in style. The students participated in a book-tasting session this morning. Children gave a short talk in small groups about a book they enjoyed and read the opening paragraph to the class to ‘hook’ some new readers.  In celebration of this special event, we finished our latest novel “Holes” and we started watching a film adaptation of the story to analysis the difference between written text and film. The students dressed up for the day as characters in one of their favourite novels as we celebrated the value that stories bring to our lives every day!
