Our topic in History for the month of April really grabbed the attention of all in 3rd Class. We studied all about The Titanic. We explored how and where it was built, the facilities on board the ship and the many reasons speculated as to why it sank.
Using our new knowledge of symmetry in maths we recreated these images of The Titanic during a very challenging but rewarding art lesson . I think the boys and girls did a fantastic job !
During science we explored various materials and worked together in groups to create a boat. They had 15 minutes to work as a team and create a waterproof boat that we then tested in a bath of water. Most were successful 🙂
