Seniors Scratch Art

January 19, 2024

Last week for Art in senior infants, we made some cool Scratch art.

We had been talking about the difference between night and day and light so this was a great chance to make use of those ideas for our pictures.

First we coloured our pages with pastels. Then we covered it in black paint and while it was wet we “scratched” in our pictures with ear buds and bamboo skewers. Despite a few tears (that’s paper tears, not crying tears!) they came out great.
