3rd class explored science and the environment (environmental awareness and care) working together as a team to construct as tall a tower as they could using spaghetti and marshmallows. We can appreciate now the difficulties architects and construction workers must face when problem solving and working together as a team !
3rd class – energy and forces
Investigated the pushing force of water. We increased the density of water by adding salt. The egg that sank to the bottom floated when we added salt. The density (pushing force) of the water was increased.
