We have finished Louis Sachar’s novel “Holes” in Rang a 5. As part of our focus on the novel, we used the descriptions of ‘yellow-spotted lizards’ in the book to begin making our own lizards out of clay today. The children have developed their skills, becoming more adept at handling air-drying clay at this stage and many of their lizards show movement and personality! Watch this space for the decorated finished products soon!
