Junior Infants have become experts at all things French related this week! We’ve been learning some French words, all about the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre the Mona Lisa, the TGV and much more. We compared the French flag to our Irish tricolour. We learned about French foods and traditions.
On Friday, we all dressed in French colours. We had a big football blitz with great participation from all four teams – the baguettes, the crepes, the escargot and the croissants all played exceptionally well. We finished with a celebratory picnic with French foods in the sunshine – it was just like the South of France across in Donie’s field! 🇫🇷☀️
