We have been busy learning all about measurement during our maths lessons. Initially, we use non standard measurements such as lollipop sticks, cubes and counters. We discovered that all of our measurements of the same objects were different, which isn’t very helpful! We then explored all about metres and centimetres and used measuring tapes to measure ourselves and objects around the room. It was great fun working with our partners to measure our arms and feet, as well as the doors and windows.
