Rang a 5 entrepreneurs were thrilled to welcome our business visitors for this year’s programme to our classroom. Maud and Sam Black from Blacks Brewery and Distillery shared their business journey with us and we learned so much about the benefits and challenges of being an entrepreneur. We were also reminded that embarking on a journey like theirs takes perseverance and so much creativity. Our budding entrepreneurs learned about the process underpinning the Blacks’ business, we got to see and touch hops and barley, and we had a question-and-answer session too.
The students’ questions were insightful and well thought-out, reflecting their interest in this programme. Our Junior Entrepreneur Programme would not be as successful and dynamic without the participation of our school community and, on this occasion, we are especially grateful to Maud and Sam for giving up their time and sharing their expertise so generously!
