Irish Sign Language Lessons! 👍🏻

April 14, 2024

This week, children in 3rd class – 6th class took part in the Language Sampler Module, ‘Say Yes to Languages’.

Our students said YES to Irish Sign Language and had their first of six lessons with their ISL tutor at school. The children were so focused and enthusiastic and we were very impressed by the speed at which they began practising this new and valuable skill for life.

At Summercove, our intention is to engage the children in languages in a fun, engaging and positive way to develop life skills, promote diversity and inclusion and lay a firm foundation for future language learning!

We hope that the experience will generate positive conversations and fun learning in your homes! We are confident that our Summercove families will join us in saying YES to Irish Sign language!
