We have finally finished our rockets! After collecting lots of recyclable materials and drawing a plan of our rockets, we finally got around to constructing them. Following lots of cutting, sticking and gluing our rockets started to take shape. Once they were (fairly) secure, we painted them using a mixture of pva glue and poster paint. This ensured the paint stuck to the plastic on the different materials we used. We left the painted rockets to dry for a few days and then gave them a second coat of poster paint!
