Rang a Trí have been learning all about procedural writing over the past few weeks. We have written and explored many different procedures and recipes and also learned how to use bossy verbs and time connectives to produce an effective procedural piece.
This morning all the boys and girls in 3rd put their new knowledge to use. They learned how to make a fruit salad. Using bossy verbs and time words they gave instructions to their class mates and took part in some peeling, chopping, slicing and most importantly eating. Their fruit salads were delicious and excellently made. Well done Rang a Trí.
