We are remaining active in S.N. Chóbh! Pupils have been involved in various active lessons and activities for the past two months. Basketball is a sport that all children in the school had an opportunity to participate in. From dribbling to throwing and catching, chest / bounce passing to possession games, all pupils really enjoyed these lessons.
Many classes again took advantage of the dry weather and ventured along the Scilly walk.
Indoor Football: Rang a Trí both girls and boys participated in indoor football blitzes in Riverstick in late November. There was huge excitement, perfection of skill and team spirit on each of the competition days. The competition was spread over three days with the quarter, semi and finals decided on the fourth day. All teams showed great determination and team spirit on their respective days and there was a great buzz about football. We were delighted to welcome back a team of boys as deserving winners of the trophy after three matches back to back. With each match win the boys were edging closer to the trophy and they delighted in sharing the wonderful news with the school community. The winning team was captained by Donal Barry and his team members were Harry and Cathal Walsh, David McCarthy, Stephen Linehan, Adam Coughlan, Brían Murphy and Patrick Dyer.

Tá súil againn go mbainfidh gach duine taitneamh as na laethanta saoire na Nollag, agus ná déan dearmad arís – bí gníomhach!
